Ghanaian midfielder Fatawu Safiu scord for Portland Timbers II in their 3-1triumph over Arizona United on Friday.
Belmar opened the scoring for Timbers in the 10th minute before the Ghanaian doubled the lead four minutes later.
Safiu combined with defender Andy Thoma on a give-and-go to get in behind the Arizona defense before calmly slotting the ball into the bottom, right corner of the goal.
The offensive midfielder, is on loan from Ghanaian side Inter Allies and hopes such fine performances will help him earn a permanent deal at the club.
