Ghanaian midfielder Hiram Boateng is thrilled to have marked his Premier League debut for Crystal Palace.

The 20-year-old was second half substitute in their 1-1 stalemate at Swansea City over the weekend.

The Plymouth Argle loan target feels elated over his dream debut.

"It was a great experience for me, to be honest," he said after the game. "I'd dreamed of this day since I was a little boy. It's good of the manager to have put his trust in me. It felt good!, “ he told the official website of the Club.

"He (Alan Pardew) just said to me: 'go on, make an impact, just try to do something to change the game,' and obviously I tried my best to do that. We've come away with a point, which is good.

"Coming on I had a bit of butterflies, but after about five minutes I settled down and thought I played quite well

"The fans were definitely good, they were singing all game. That's great for the team, it pushes the team to do well. It's been really good."

He could be thrown into the hat in their next Premier League game against Watford on Saturday.
