Ghanaian midfielder Isaac Cofie has set his sights on staying at Italian club Genoa for many years.

Cofie has been linked with a move away from the Stadio Luigi Ferrari in the ongoing summer transfer window following a remarkable season for the Rossoblu last season.

The 25-year-old said during an interview with the press in Austria, Neusift, that he's delighted with his development at the club and would not want to end any time soon.

''I am very happy to have spent nine years at Genoa and I hope to continue for many other seasons in their shirt,'' Cofie told the press in Austria, Neustift.

The talented midfielder will have his contract with Genoa expired in 2018.
