Ghanaian international midfielder Isaac Sackey scored his second goal of the season for Slovan Liberec but his strike was not enough as Sparta Praha consigned them to a 4-1 defeat in the Czech Liga on Saturday night.

The 20-year-old, a former Liberty Professionals, netted his second goal of the campaign and in three games for Liberec.

Sparta took a 2-0 lead at the Generali Arena but Sackey gave them hope by scoring in the 55th minute to half the deficit but they could not keep up as the host scored two more goals to cruise to a resounding victory.

Sackey took the place of Dutch-born Ghanaian international Kevin Luckassen in the 37th minute and he proved his worth by scoring in the game.
