Ghanaian midfielder John Arwuah finally made his debut for AEL Limassol in their 1-0 win over Ayia Napa on Sunday.

Arwuah saw his debut delayed last week due to late registration but received his papers in time to mark his hugely- anticipated debut for his new side.

The former AmaZulu star replaced compatriot Carlos Ohene in the 62nd minute, just a minute after Adrián Sardinero had scored what proved to be the match winner.

“I am very happy with how things went. Very happy to have finally marked my debut,” he told GHANAsoccernet.com

“I’m looking ahead to more games and helped the club to win laurels.”

Limassol are on the road where they take on Apollon on Friday.
