Ghanaian midfielder Koby Arthur is reported to be on the verge of departing English National League champions Macclesfield Town.

Arthur, 22, joined the Silken from Birmingham City at the start of the season as a free agent after loans deals at Cheltenham Town and Lincoln City.

However, the hard-tackling enforcer could not command regular playing time as he made 15 appearances and registered one goal, two assisst.

According to reports in England, Macclesfield, who clinched the English fourth-tier league trophy, have put Arthur together with five other players namely Diego De Girolamo, Courtney Richards, Sam Ramsbottom, and Noe Baba on the transfer list and have made it known to them.

The youngster who was rated high above now Leicester City hotshot Demarai Gray during their time at Birmingham City has in recent times failed to exhibit the form which once made him a target of all the EPL top teams.
