Kwame Bonsu, left with David Accam, won the MVP

Ghanaian youth international midfielder Kwame Bonsu was voted the most valuable player of the match despite his Mjällby losing 3-1 at Helsingborg IF in the Swedish Allsvenskan on Sunday afternoon.

The 19-year-old proved to be the stand-out player and outclassed every player who played part of the game.

Bonsu, who lasted 81 minutes, was surprisingly rated ahead of Ghana attacker David Accam who scored a double for Helsingborg in the game.

"I won the MVP award and I feel very proud of myself. I hope to keep working hard and improve my game," he told GHANAsoccernet.com.

The young midfielder joined Mjällby from Ghana Premier League side Kpando Heart of Lions in 2013 and has been consistent for the club who are bottom of the table.
