Ghanaian Mohammed Muntari scored a brace for El Jaish in their 2-1 win over Qatar Sports Club in the Qatarian top-flight on Friday.

El Jaish went down in the 19th minute when Korean striker Cho Young-Cheol struck stunning free-kick.

The second-half had slightly more bite with the introduction of Muntari.

The 20-year-old mid-fielder enlivened the encounter as he first cancelled Cho’s goal with a superb header in the 58th minute and two minutes later scored his fourth goal of the season to give his team a 2-1 lead with an assist from Hasan Magid.

El Jaish maintained their third position in the Qatar Stars League.
