Ghanaian midfielder Denis Odoi admits he is afraid of a mass player exodus from KSC Lokeren and reveals manager Peter Maes could also leave the Pro League side at the end of the season.

Lokeren is regarded as the most brilliant side in the Belgian top-flight with an underrated good manager and talented crop of players with a considerable low budget.

The Waasland-based side triumphed in the Belgian Cup as they lifted the 2013/14 trophy beating Zulte-Waregem in the final last week to win the title with Odoi playing an influential role in the game.

But Belgian-born says he is afraid the club might lose most of their best players to rich domestic and foreign clubs at the end of the season.

"Yes, I am afraid of an exodus after this season," he told The News.

Many of our players and the coach just do it very well or feel ready to make the step to a bigger club. There are just teams in Belgium where the rewards or the paycheck looks much nicer."

The former Anderlecht midfielder also revealed he has been approached by a couple of clubs include including top notch European sides.

"Top Belgian clubs have shown interest but not much but rather there have good interest from overseas," he confessed.
