Ghanaian midfielder Philemon Akomeah out of danger after collapsing in Cyprus

Ghanaian midfielder Philemon Akomeah is safe after he collapsed while in action in Cyprus over the weekend.

Akomeah, 21, was rushed to the hospital after his side Mormenekse FC suffered a 4-1 defeat to Yenicami AÄŸdelen SK in the Northern Cypriot league.

But the West African has been discharged from the Bristish Kolan Hospital and doing well.

"I did not see anything again after my head hit the goal post. I now respect boxers their profession is not easy."
