Ghanaian midfielder Seidu Salifu is confident of a positive result for Club Africain in their CAF Confederation Cup game against Dolphins on Saturday.

The 21-year-old is part of the team that will host the Port Harcourt-based side for the first round first leg game.

Salifu has been a regular starter for the Reds this term having struggled in his debut season for the club.

The former Ghana U20 star is upbeat of his team’s chances against Dolphins on Saturday.

“There is a lot of seriousness amongst the players and the mentality and preparations for this game has been good,” he told GHANAsoccernet.com.

“Clearly, we are here to win and we will work very hard for it.

“We know its difficult playing away from home in Africa but we are confident in the quality of the team and believe strongly we will come away with the win.”

Club Africain eliminated Djoliba on penalties to progress to this stage of the competition where they face the tough Nigerian side, Dolphins.
