Ghanaian midfielder Sulley Muniru set to sign for Polish giants Legia Warsaw at end of week

Ghanaian midfielder Sulley Muniru is set to Polish giants Legia Warsaw at the end of the week after impressing on a trial, GHANAsoccernet.com can reveal.

The younger brother of former AC Milan and Inter star Sulley Muntari, has been training with the Polish powerhouse for the past two weeks.

"He being very effective in defensive play and losing very few balls", as the Poles write, adding: "He is very aggressive very ambitious."

Muniru is available on a free transfer after terminating his contract with Romanian side FC Steaua Bucuresti at the end of the season.

Reports in Romanian claimed the former Liberty Professionals player had his deal  cancelled because had a clash with team-mate Florin Tanase at the club's training group.
