Musician Rebecca Acheampong (Becca) has revealed benefiting from her trip to Brazil as one of the ambassadors for Ghana’s participation at the 2014 World Cup.

The famous Ghanaian musician was one of over 14 personalities selected by the Sports Ministry to play specific roles in raising funds to support Ghanaian fans to travel to Brazil to support the Black Stars.

The transportation and accommodation of the chosen ambassadors were fraught with several challenges with some of the stars being forced to check frequently in and out of hotels while others were left stranded to sleep in airports.

But the ‘Daa ke Daa’ hit maker revealed she is reaping some sort of dividends from her tip to Brazil where she performed twice to a large group of Ghanaian supporters, Brazilians and other national during the World Cup.

Becca says revealed she has received an invitation to return to Brazil to perform at a festival in Rio.

“After my performance I was invited for interviews by a lot of media houses in Brazil and after that, I have been invited to perform there again,” she revealed to the Presidential Commission on Thursday.

“I am expected there in November for a festival in Rio so we are still talking.”
