Ghanaian Owusu-Ansah Williams was the main-man for SV Rödinghausen as he scored twice to help them humiliate visiting Arminia Bielefeld 3-0 in a club friendly on Wednesday.Â
The former Bundesliga side, now in the second-tier of German football, were using the game to put themselves in shape while the Bundesliga II heads for recess due to the international breaks.
Bielefeld manager Stefan Krämer has come under pressure after losing all two of their last league games and was seeking to use the friendly to build his side's confidence to campaign for wins in the league but things turned rather disgusting for them as they got beaten.
First, Owusu-Ansah fired his side, mainly consisting of part-timers, into the lead early in the first-half with a top-drawer before further stunning the travellers with yet another strike in the 70th minute.
The Ghanaian danger-man completed his operation on the evening as he turned the architect, setting up substitute Yannick Jaeschke to register the third goal to seal victory for his side.
Owusu-Ansah is virtually unknown in the German top-division but his exploits on Wednesday evening has earned him some amount of popularity and he will at least hog the headlines for a couple of hours.
The 21-year-old could end up shifting up the ranks of German lower division football to a more highly competitive division.
