Ghanaian Randy Edwini-Bonsu hit the back of the net against Borussia Dortmund but his strike was not enough as the giants hammered his Stuttgarter Kickers 4-1 to progress to the 2nd round of the German Cup.

The 24-year-old Kumasi-born who holds a Canadian passport escaped a forest of Dortmund defenders to bang home his goal on the hour mark but his effort was not enough for the Liga 3 side.

Armenian Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Pierre Aubameyang and Gustavo Ramos all scored to hand victory to Dortmund who had just emerged from their triumph over Bayern Munich in the German Super Cup last weekend.
