Ghana first choice goalkeeper Adam Kwarasey made three wonderful saves to help the Drammen-based side secure the points in a 2-1 victory.

Harrison Afful - Esperance de Tunis The 26-year-old took his last bite of the Caf Champions League finals lasting 73 minutes in the one-all stalemate in the first leg against Al Ahli. The former Asante Kotoko defender is deployed at right-back.

Razak Nuhu - Stromsgodset The 21-year-old impressed in the 81 minutes he lasted for Stromsgodset in their 2-1 win over Rosenborg Bk. He set up Ola Kamara for the opening goal for Stroms.

Mitch Apau - Veendam Though the Dutch Eerste Divisie is a second-tier league, the 22-year-old Amsterdam-born was a pillar in defence for Veendam who emerged comprehensive winners over Oss at their own backyard.

John Boye - Stade Rennes With Boye at the heart of defence, Stade Reims had limited chances in attack. He marshalled the defence and stood between Rennes and conceding.

Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu - Udinese Badu lasted 50 minutes for Les Zebrettes in their 1-1 draw at Bologna.

Andre Ayew - Olympique Marseille Ayew was the steamroller for Marseille and scored the opener for Marseille in their 2-0 victory at Ajaccio.

Michael Essien - Real Madrid The Chelsea loanee dazzled in midfield for Real Madrid and scored the third goal in the 89th minute for Real Madrid in their 4-0 win over Real Zaragoza.

Nana Akwasi Asare - FC Utrecht The Black Stars returnee set up two of FC Utrecht's five goals in their 5-1 win at Willem II.

Jordan Ayew - Olympique Marseille He came off the bench in the 66th minute and doubled Marseille's lead in the 87th minute in their 2-0 win over Ajaccio.

Abdul Majeed Waris - BK Hacken The 21-year-old scored his 23rd goal of the season to claim the top scorer award in BK Hacken's 2-1 last match day win over GIF Sundsvall.
