Dutch-born Ghanaian defender Timothy Fosu-Mensah played 78th minute on his Crystal Palace debut as they hammered 3-0 at home by newly promoted club Huddersfield Town. German-born Ghanaian midfielder Collin Quaner came off the bench to assist Huddersfield third goal.

Jordan Ayew played full throttle for Swansea City in their 0-0 stalemate against Southampton.

Christian Atsu was impressive for Newcastle United in their 2-0 home defeat to Tottenham Hotspurs.

Andre Ayew lasted for 90 minutes as West Ham United were hammered 4-0 at Manchester United.

Andy Yiadom was missing from Barnsley match day squad as he edges closer to Huddersfield Town switch in their 2-1 loss at home to Ipswich Town.

Albert Adomah replaced Ahmad Elmohamady with just 31 minutes on the clock as Aston Villa lost 3-0 at Cardiff City.

Caleb Ekuban warmed the bench for 90 minutes for Leeds United in their 0-0 draw at home to Preston North End.

Phil Ofosu Ayerh still nursing an injury as he missed Wolves 2-0 win at Derby County.

Belgium-born of Ghanaian descent Dennis Odoi missed Fulham 1-1 draw with Reading as he nears a move back to Belgium.

In the League One, Kwesi Appiah was hauled off at half time for AFC Wimbledon 1-0 home loss to Shrewsbury Town.

Thomas Asante Brandon was an unused substitute for Milton Keynes Dons in their 1-0 loss at Blackpool.

In the League two, Akwasi Asante did not make Grimsby Town match day squad in their 2-0 loss at home to Coventry City. Kwame Thomas also faced the same fate for Coventry.

Koby Arthur was taken with nine minutes left for Macclesfield Town in their 0-0 draw against Bromley.

German-born Ghanaian defender Marcel Appiah was red carded for VfL Osnabruck in their 3-1 win over Gideon Jung’s Hamburg SV in the German DFB Pokal round of 32. Jung lasted entire duration.

Lawrence Ati-Zigi wan an unused substitute for Sochaux in their 3-2 win against Lens.

AUSTRIA

David Atanga and Samuel Tetteh were again missing for Red Bull Salzburg with injuries in their 1-0 win at Altach.

Kadiri Mohammed made a cameo appearance for Austria Vienna in their 2-0 win over Lask Linz

Gideon Mensah was shown a red card in FC Liefering 2-2 stalemate at Hartberg.

Kennedy Boateng played full throttle for Reid in their 1-1 draw at BW Linz.

AZERBAIJAN

Richard Gadze scored the winning goal for Zira in their 2-1 win over Sabaili.

BELGIUM

Goalkeeper Abdul Manaf-Nurudeen was not included in Zulte Waregem match day squad in their 2-1 loss against Club Brugge. Budding winger Elton Ofoi Acolatse could not make Brugge match day squad.

Ghanaian goalkeepers Razak Brimah and Richard Ofori were both facing work permit issues hence their missing in action when their side’s Mamelodi Sundown and Maritzburg United clash in the MTN 8 Cup. The later won by a lone goal.

TURKEY

Attamah Lawerh enjoyed 90 minutes for Basakseher in their 1-0 win over Bursaspor Turkish SuperLig opener while compatriot Agyemang Badu also tasted full throttle for Bursaspor.

Isaac Sackey lasted for 64 minutes for Alanyaspor in their 3-1 defeat to Bernard Mensah’s Kasimpasa. Mensah made a cameo appearance.

John Boye did make Sivasspor match day squad as they lost 1-0 at Akhisar Genclik.

Jerry Akaminko played 90 minutes for Eskisehirspor as they were held to a 2-2 draw at Instanbulspor AS.

Latif Blessing was a second half substitute for Sporting Kansas City in their 1-0 loss at Seattle Sounders.

Jonathan Mensah, Lalas Abubakar and Harrison Afful played instrumental roles for Columbus Crew in their 3-1 win over David Accam’s Chicago Fire. Accam lasted for 89 minutes. Meanwhile, Mohammed Abu was an unused substitute for the Crew.
