Nasiru Mohammed dominated the headlines among Ghanaian players abroad over the weekend as he bagged a sensational hat-trick for BK Hacken in Sweden. 

There was also goals for winger Albert Adomah while former Hearts of Oak hot-shot Mahatma Otoo grabbed a consolation goal in Norway.

ENGLAND Defender Jeffrey Schlupp was introduced in the 85th minute Leicester City who fought from 3-1 down to beat troubled Manchester United side 5-3 at the King Power Stadium.

Christian Atsu started his maiden Premier League game for Everton and played 64 minutes in their 3-2 home loss against Crystal Palace. Young midfielder Hiram Boateng could not make the Palace squad for the game.

In the Championship Albert Adomah scored the second goal for Middlesbrough who won 4-0 against Brentford at the Riverside Stadium.

Birmingham City did not use recalled Ghanaian youth attacker Koby Arthur in their 2-2 stalemate at Norwich City. Ghanaian-born Norwegian international Alexander Tettey played full throttle for Norwich.

Former Chelsea youth team captain Nana Ofori-Twumasi gatecrashed the Yeovil Town starting team and played the entire 90 minutes as they managed a narrow 1-0 win over Peterborough United.

In the League Two, former QPR striker Patrick Agyemang lasted till the hour mark for Portsmouth who could not beat Wycombe Wanderers as they drew 1-1.

Former Liverpool striker David Amoo came off the bench to score the second goal for Carlisle Town who slipped to a 3-2 loss at Mansfield Town.

Cheltenham Town and Dagenham & Redbridge split points with a 1-1 draw. Former Arsenal youth team striker and English-born Ghanaian Abu Ogogo played the full 90 minutes for Dagenham & Redbridge.

CYPRUS

In the Cypriot First Division Doxa are still without a win in four games after losing 2-0 against Othellos. Ghanaian midfielder Livingston Adjin was in full-time action for them. However attacker Ulysse Ndong also completed the game for  Othellos.

Ghanaian defender Razak Nuhu completed the game for Anorthosis Famagusta who were beaten 1-0 at Ermis.

HOLLAND Williem II ended the winning run of NAC Breda after beating them 2-1 on Saturday. Former AC Milan forward Kingsley Boateng was replaced on the 80th minute mark by Dutch-born Ghanaian Jeffrey Sarpong.

Talented Ghanaian youngster Shadragh Eghan came off the bench to play the last 10 minutes for FC Twente who posted a 4-1 away victory over Heracles Almelo. Winger Edwin Gyasi was not in the Heracles team for the game.

Attacker Elvis Manu was a second-half substitute by Feyenoord who slipped to a 1-0 home loss at the hands of rivals Ajax Amsterdam. Dutch-born Kenny Tete could not make the Ajax squad for the game.

Dutch-born Rodney Antwi could not make the FC Utrecht first team squad for their 1-0 triumph over FC Groningen. Defender Johan Kappelhof played in central defence for Groningen.

Defender Kodjo Amevor watched proceedings from the bench of Go Ahead Eagles when they drew 1-1 with ADO Den Haag.

Youngster Raymond Gyasi remained with the AZ Alkmaar second string side as he could not make the first team squad in their 1-0 win over PEC Zwolle. 

In the Eerste Divisie, German-born Ghanaian defender Marcel Appiah was in full-time action for NEC Nijmegen who maintained their leadership of the league after hammering Emmen 4-0.

Attacker Jonathan Opoku set up both goals for Oss who shared the spoils with Achilles '29 in a 2-2 draw on Friday.

Midfielder Mustapha Yahaya was unused by Jong FC Twente who squeezed a point out of Telstar after drawing 1-1.

Roda JC left Jong Ajax reeling after posting a 1-0 win over them. Dutch-born Ghanaian pair of Kenny Tete and Elton Acolatse both started the game for Ajax with Acolatse paving way out in the 81st minute.

In the Topklasse, attacker Kenneth Misa-Danso continued his goal-assaults by scoring again for Ajax Amateurs in their 4-1 away win over Lisse on Saturday. Sir Ralph Owusu came off the bench in the second-half to play for Ajax Amateur.

Ghanaian defender Ralph Dua played the full 90 minutes of the game when OJC Rosmalen beat his Lienden 2-0.

ITALY In the Serie A Juventus posted a 1-0 victory over rivals AC Milan at the San Siro. Black Stars midfielder Sulley Muntari played full throttle for Milan while his international team-mate Kwadwo Asamoah also completed the entire duration of the game. Michael Essien sat on the Milan bench.

On Sunday afternoon, midfielder Afriyie Acquah was in full time action for Parma who recovered well from last weekend's defeat at the hands of AC Milan by beating Chievo Verona 3-2. Isaac Cofie came off the Chievo bench to assist the second goal.

Black Stars midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu played the entire duration of the game for Udinese who posted a 1-0 win over Napoli. Masahudu Alhassan could not the Udinese squad for the game.

Inter Milan had to fight from behind to hold Palermo to a 1-1 draw. Swedish-born Ghanaian Robin Quaison played the last 7 regulation minutes for Palermo.

Godfred Donsah did not travel with the Cagliari squad to AS Roma where they lost 2-0.

Sassuolo and Sampdoria played out a 0-0 stalemate. Midfielder Raman Chibsah came off the bench to play for Sassuolo but Inter Milan loanee Alfred Duncan was a bench warmer for Sampdoria.

Richmond Boakye-Yiadom played 90 minutes for Atalanta but could not score as they lost 1-0 against Fiorentina.

In the Serie B, Modena held Catania to a 1-1 draw on Saturday. Midfielder Amidu Salifu and attacker Maxwell Acosty both started the game. Acosty was replaced in the 83rd minute but Salifu played the full 90 minutes.

Genoa loanee Moro Al-Hassan was unused by Vicenza who held Perugia to a 2-2 draw.

In the Primavera league, Inter Milan posted a 3-1 win over Udinese. Ghanaian defender Isaac Donkor captained the Inter side and paired with Bright Gyamfi in central defence. But young striker Samuel Appiah sat on the bench.

FRANCE In the Ligue 1, Andre Ayew was in full time action for Olympique Marseille who coasted to a 3-0 home win over Stade Rennes.

Elsewhere at the Stade Yves Allainmat - Le Moustoir, Jordan Ayew played 62 minutes for Lorient who were beaten 1-0 by visiting Stade Reims.

On Friday night, Jonathan Mensah played the entire game for Evian TG who lost 2-1 at the hands of Bordeuax.

Dennis Appiah was booked in the 32nd minute and played the full 90 minutes for Caen who were held to a 3-3 draw by Toulouse.

Kwame Nsor is still without his Ligue 1 debut as he watched his Metz side cruise to a 3-1 win over Bastia on Saturday.

In the French Ligue de National, midfielder Ben Amofa was replaced just before the start of the second-half by Strasbourg who lost 3-0 against Bourg-Péronnas.

Former Ghana U17 skipper Charles Boateng played the entire game for Avranches who lost 2-0 at Consolat Marseille.

TURKEY

Jerry Akaminko could not recover in time to play for Eski?ehirspor who lost 2-0 at home against Gençlerbirli?i.

Defender John Boye missed Kayseri Erciyesspor's 2-1 home loss against leaders Akhisar Belediyespor.

GERMANY Defender Baba Rahman continued his impressive performance in the Bundesliga by playing 90 minutes for Augsburg who beat Werder Bremen 3-2.

American-born Ghanaian winger Joe Gyau sat on the Borussia Dortmund bench when they suffered a 2-0 loss at the hands of Mainz 05.

German-born attacker Karim Bellarabi assisted the consolation goal for Bayer 04 Leverkusen and lasted 66 minutes when they suffered a 4-1 battering at the hands of Wolfsburg.

Kevin-Prince Boateng was marched off the pitch in the 61st minute while in action for Schalke 04 who drew 2-2 with Eintracht Frankfurt. He was booked twice in the game and will miss Schalke's successive two Bundesliga games.

In the Bundesliga II defender Philemon Ofosu-Aryeh was in full-time action for Aalen who lost 1-0 against Sandhausen.

Elsewhere in the Liga 3, Ghanaian-born Canadian forward Randy Edwini-Bonsu was replaced in the second-half by Stuttgarter Kickers in their 1-1 stalemate with Osnabrück.

Highly-rated Ghanaian attacker Reagy Ofosu warmed the bench for leaders Chemnitzer FC who beat Stuttgart II 1-0.

Midfielder Evans Owusu Nyarko played full throttle for Borussia Dortmund II who slipped to a 2-0 home loss at the hands of Fortuna Köln.

In the Regionalliga, German-born Ghanaian attacker Kwasi Okyere Wriedt scored the match winning goal for St Pauli II who won narrowly against Hannover 96 II.

SPAIN Atletico Madrid loanee Thomas Partey was a full timer for Almeria who picked their first win of the season after beating Real Sociedad 2-1 at their own backyard.

Derek Boateng sat on the bench once more for La Liga new boys Eibar who posted a 2-0 away win over Elche FC.

Fatau Mohammed watched Rayo Vallecano's 4-2 away loss at Villarreal from the bench.

Miranders slipped to a 2-0 home loss against Sporting Gijón as they were without their influential Ghanaian keeper Razak Brimah. 

In the Segunda B, midfielder Benjamin Asamoah missed Atletico Madrid II's 1-0 win over Tudelano with suspension.

UAE

Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan scored a sublimed finish for Al Ain who beat Al Wasl 2-0 in the Arabian Gulf League opener on Saturday.

SWEDEN Former Ghana U17 captain Nasiru Mohammed scored a hat-trick for BK Hacken who posted a 5-1 win over Brommapojkarna on Saturday.  Defender Richard Donkor was unused by Hacken while Augustine Okrah could not make the Hacken squad for the game.

King Osei-Gyan and Joseph Baffo both played for Halmstad BK who beat AIK Solna 1-0 in the Allsvenskan. Ebenezer Ofori and Ibrahim Moro both played for AIK Solna but striker Kwame Karikari did not play for AIK.

Malmo FF and Helsingborg played out a pulsating 1-1 draw on Sunday night. Attacker David Accam missed the game with suspension but Enoch Adu Kofi played for Malmo while Ema Boateng played the last 22 minutes for Helsingborg.

In the Superettan, former Ghana U20 attacker Benjamin Fadi was in full time action for Varnamo who lost 2-1 GIF Sundsvall.

GAIS posted a 3-1 win over Landskrona. Ghanaian midfielder Reuben Aryana started and completed the game for GAIS but former Hearts of Oak midfielder Sadat Karim was on the Landskrona bench.

RUSSIA

Black Stars midfielder Rabiu Mohammed played a holding midfield role for Kuban Krasnodar who beat Rubin Kazan' 2-1.

Former Arsenal star Emmanuel Frimpong played the entire second-half for FC Ufa who lost 1-0 against Ural.

SCOTLAND Wakaso Mubarak could not make his Scottish Premier League debut for Celtic as he was left out of the squad that played out a 1-1 stalemate with Motherwell at the Celtic Park.

Hearts of Midlothian were without Ghanaian midfielder Prince Buaben in their 5-1 demolition of Cowdenbeath.

NORWAY Stromsgodset got things right by humbling Bodø / Glimt 4-0. Ghanaian trio Adam Kwarasey, Mohammed Abu and Nana Boateng all started and completed the game while young Divine Naah came off the bench to play a cameo role for Stromsgodset.

Mahatma Otoo scored the consolation goal for Sogndal IF who suffered a 3-1 loss at Sarpsborg 08 on Sunday evening.

Winger Ernest Asante was replaced in the 89th minute by IK Start who posted a 1-0 away win over Viking. 

In the Division One, former Ghana U17 captain Paul Addo sat on the FK Bryne bench when they beat HamKam 1-0.

Enock Kwakwa played 76 minutes for Ullensaker / Kisa who lost 2-0 against Bærum at their own backyard.

USA Samuel Inkoom was replaced just before the start of the second-half by DC United who drew 3-3 with Chicago Fire on Saturday night. Patrick Nyarko came off the Chicago Fire bench to play the last 27 minutes. Kofi Opare sat on the United bench.

Dominic Oduro played the last 18 minutes for Toronto FC who beat Chivas USA 3-0.

English-born Ghanaian Lloyd Sam set up two goals for New York Red Bulls in their 4-1 thrashing of Seattle Sounders.

Portland Timbers posted a comfortable 3-0 win over Vancouver Whitecaps. Neither Khalif Alhassan nor Gershon Koffie was not in the Timbers and Whitecaps teams respectively.

CZECH REPUBLIC

Viktoria Plze? managed a 2-0 win over Banik Ostrava. Former Tema Youth striker Francis Narh came off the Ostrava bench in the 63rd minute to play but compatriot Derrick Mensah was unused.

Slovan Liberec slipped to a 1-0 away loss at Zbrojovka Brno. Former Liberty Professionals midfielder Isaac Sackey was not in the Slovan team for the game but Dutch-born Kevin Luckassen was a second-half substitute.

DENMARK

Defender Francis Dickoh missed FC Midtjylland's 2-1 loss at Nordsjælland with suspension. Kamal Issah sat on the Nordsjælland bench.

Danny Amankwaa played 73 minutes for FC Copenhagen who posted a narrow 1-0 win over Brøndby. Midfielder Daniel Amartey missed the game with suspension.

In the second-tier league Viborg maintained their winning run with a 2-0 triumph over Lyngby. Brothers Jeff and Kevin Mensah both played in the game for Viborg.

SERBIA Former Accra Hearts of Oak captain Moro Abubakar could not make his Serbian Super League debut for Donji Srem who drew 1-1 with ?ukari?ki. Former Asante Kotoko youth team player Obeng Regan played for the entire game for ?ukari?ki.

ROMANIA

Sadat Bukari scored an 89th minute match winner for Astra who beat Pandurii Târgu Jiu 2-1. Midfielder Seidu Yahaya was unused.

Sulley Muniru played the entire game for CFR Cluj when they won 1-0 at O?elul.

PORTUGAL

Quincy Owusu-Abeyie could not make the Boavista squad for their game at FC Porto which ended 0-0.

Rio Ave were beaten 2-0 by visiting Arouca. Alhassan Wakaso started the game for Rio and was replaced in the 46th minute while former Ghana U17 player Emmanuel Boateng came off the bench for Rio in the 63rd minute.

Youngster Bernard Mensah played 80 minutes for Vitória Guimarães who drew 1-1 with Paços de Ferreira. Osei Barnes could not make the Paços de Ferreira squad for the game.

SWITZERLAND

Samuel Afum played for BSC Young Boys who exited the Swiss Cup after losing 1-0 against Buochs on Saturday.

But winger Ishmael Yartey assisted a goal and ensured FC Sion progressed after they edged Biel-Bienne 1-0. Ebenezer Assifuah missed the game with injury.
