Youngster Bernard Mensah scored his fourth goal in four games in Portugal as he netted against FC Porto while Samuel Afum and Kingsley Boateng also netted on Sunday. 

There was a Serie A goal for Richmond Boakye-Yiadom at Atalanta while 16-year-old Andy Akoteng-Bonsrah scored for Alemannia Aachen in the German junior leagues.

ENGLAND

Hiram Boateng could not make the Crystal Palace first team squad when they were held to a 0-0 stalemate by visiting Burnley at the Selhurst Park in London.

Versatile defender Jeffrey Schlupp played 76 minutes for Leicester City booked a vital 1-0 away victory over Stoke City on Saturday afternoon.

Christian Atsu was unused as he sat on the bench Everton bench in their 2-0 away triumph over West Bromwich Albion.

In the Championship, winger Albert Adomah played until the 94th minute for Middlesbrough who beat Huddersfield Town 2-1 at their own backyard.

In the League One, Nana Ofori-Twumasi warmed the bench for Yeovil Town who lost 2-1 at Coventry City.

In the League Two, Koby Arthur was a full-timer for Cheltenham Town when they lost 1-0 against Luton Town.

FRANCE

Olympique Marseille completed a hat-trick of Ligue 1 victories after beating Evian TG 3-1 on Sunday night. Ghana defender Jonathan Mensah was booked in the 22nd minute and he played the entire match while Andre Ayew was in fine form for Marseille.

Young defender Dennis Appiah played in defence for Caen who slipped to a 1-0 loss against Saint-Etienne at the Stade Geoffroy-Guichard.

Metz were beat 1-0 at OG Nice. There was no Kwame Nsor in the Metz squad for the game.

Attacker Jordan Ayew was a full-time for Lorient who succumbed to a 1-0 loss against Montpellier on Saturday.

AUSTRIA

German-born Ghanaian defender Davidson Drobo-Ampem marked his debut for Wacker Innsbruck by coming off the bench on the hour mark to play in their 3-0 away triumph over Horn on Friday night.

Young Ghanaian midfielder Felix Adjei played the last nine minutes of the game for Liefering who emerged 6-3 winners at Mattersburg.

DENMARK

Former Hamburg SV defender Lenny Sowah could not make the Vestsjælland team when they lost 3-0 at Esbjerg on Sunday.

Youngster Kamal Issah sat on the Nordsjælland bench when they beat Silkeborg 2-1.

Center-back Francis Dickoh missed FC Midtjylland's 3-2 victory over BK Odense at the MCH Arena.

FC Copenhagen's poor form in the season continued as they suffered a 1-0 loss against AaB on Saturday. Both Daniel Amartey and Danny Amankwaa started and completed the game for them.

In the NordicBet Ligaen, AB Copenhagen slipped to a 2-0 loss at the hands of Viborg. Midfielder Jeff Mensah started the game and lasted the entire duration of the game while Kevin Mensah did not play in the game due to injury.

FINLAND

Former Schalke 04 midfielder Anthony Annan marked his debut for HJK by coming off the bench in the 58th minute to play in their 2-2 stalemate with KuPS. Defender Gideon Baah played the entire 90 minutes and was booked in added time.

GERMANY

Baba Rahman claimed his first team place and lasted the full 90 minutes for Augsburg who defeated Eintracht Frankfurt 1-0 on Sunday afternoon.

Kevin-Prince Boateng played his third game of the season for Schalke 04 who got stomped 4-1 at Borussia M'gladbach in the Bundesliga on Saturday. He was booked in the 65th minute.

Joseph-Claude Gyau broke into the Dortmund team but sat on the bench in their 3-1 win over Freiburg.

Philemon Ofosu-Aryeh played the entire match for Aalen who suffered a 4-1 loss at Ingolstadt.

In the Regionalliga, Fredriek Kyereh played the last 17 minutes for Elversberg who hammered Pirmasens 4-1.

In the Liga 3, Armenia Bielefeld posted a 3-0 win over Borussia Dortmund II. Evans Owusu Nyarko played the entire minutes of the game for Dortmund but Claude Gyau was not in the Dortmund squad for the game.

Ghanaian-born Canadian international Randy Edwini-Bonsu played the last 37 minutes of the game for Stuttgarter Kickers  who lost 2-1 to MSV Duisburg.

ITALY

Striker Richmond Boakye-Yiadom opened his Serie A goal account by scoring the match winner for Atalanta in their 2-1 win over Cagliari. He was replaced in the 76th minute but Godfred Donsah was unused by Cagliari.

Inter Milan loanee Alfred Duncan was unused by Sampdoria who defeated Torino 2-o.

Raman Chibsah was axed from the Sassuolo squad when they got mauled 7-0 at Inter Milan.

Isaac Cofie came off the bench to fortify the Chievo Verona midfielder when they snatched a crucial victory at Napoli after beating them 1-0.

Sulley Muntari played the full 90 minutes for AC Milan who beat Parma 5-4 in a bad tempered game. Midfielder Afriyie Acquah was booked in the 85th minute and played the full 90 minutes but Michael Essien was unused by Milan.

Juventus posted a 2-0 win over Udinese at the Juventus Arena. Neither Kwadwo Asamoah nor Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu was involved in the game for Juventus and Udinese respectively.

In the Serie B young midfielder Ransford Selasi was unused by Pescara who lost 3-2 to Bologna.

In other games, there was no Amidu Salifu nor Maxwell Acosty in the Modena team that picked a 1-0 win over Pro Vercelli on Saturday.

Isaac Ntow was not in the Brescia team when they beat Virtus Entella 1-0.

SPAIN

Atletico Madrid loanee Thomas Partey was in full time action for Almeria and was booked in the 56th minute in their 1-1 stalemate with Córdoba on Friday.

Paul Quaye could not make the Malaga first team squad in their 0-0 draw with Levante on Saturday.

HOLLAND

Rodney Antwi was not in the FC Utrecht team that drew 0-0 with ADO Den Haag.

Former AC Milan striker Kingsley Boateng scored the only goal of the game for NAC Breda in their 1-0 win at Dordrecht. Jeffrey Sarpong was brought on in the 67th minute.

Defender Johan Kappelhof finished the game for ten-man Groningen who lost 3-0 at Cambuur.

Ajax Amsterdam restored their winning run with a 2-1 victory over Heracles Almelo. However there was no Ghanaian involved in the game as Kenny Tete failed to make the Ajax squad while Edwin Gyasi did not make the trip with Heracles.

Youngster Shadrach Eghan played the last 7 minutes for FC Twente when they sneaked past Go Ahead Eagles 2-1. Kodjo Amevor warmed the bench for Go Ahead Eagles.

Raymond Gyasi could not make the AZ Alkmaar squad for their 1-0 home loss against Heerenveen.

Elvis Manu played the entire second-half for Feyenoord who slipped to a 2-1 home loss to Williem II.

Dutch-born striker Jonathan Opoku was a full timer for Oss who suffered a 4-2 defeat at the hands of Almere City.

Marcel Appiah played in defence for NEC Nijmegen who maintained their leadership of the table after beating RKC Waalwijk 1-0.

In the third-tier league Kenneth Misa-Danso scored both goals for Ajax Amateurs who beat Sparta Nijkerk 2-1.

SAUDI ARABI

Former Berekum Chelsea striker Emmanuel Banahene scored the consolation goal for Al-Orubah who picked a 2-1 loss at Al Ittihad. Former Black Stars midfielder Moussa Narry played the entire regulation minutes for Orubah.

SWEDEN

Malmo FF frustrated BK Hacken after holding them to a 3-3 drawn game at their own backyard. Former Ghana U17 midfielder Enoch Adu Kofi completed the entire minutes of the game for Malmo but Nasiru Mohammed and Augustine Okrah were not in the Hacken squad for the game.

Midfielder Zakaria Abdullai was in action for Husqvarna suffered a 2-1 home loss at the hands of Hammarby.

SCOTLAND

Ghana winger Wakaso Mubarak could not make his debut for Scottish giants Celtic who beat Aberdeen 2-1 at the Celtic Park on Saturday.

Midfielder Prince Buabeng missed Hearts of Midlothian's 0-0 draw with Dumbarton due to suspension.

BELGIUM

Winger Frank Acheampong scored to ensure Anderlecht managed a 2-2 draw at Lierse SK. He lasted the entire duration of the game.

Nana Akwasi Asare helped KAA Gent to book a 1-0 win over Mouscron-Péruwelz.

Bennard Kumordzi was impressive in midfield for Racing Genk who shared the spoils with Club Brugge in a 1-1 draw.

Lokeren continued their rise after beating Kortrijk 3-2. Youngster Eugene Ansah could not make the Lokeren squad for the game but Denis Odoi played the entire minutes for them.

Elsewhere at the Regenboogstadion defender David Addy played 76 minutes for Waasland-Beveren who shocked Zulte-Waregem by beating them 4-1 at their own backyard.

Jerry Vandam returned to the KV Mechelen team but sat on the bench when they hammered Westerlo 5-2. While he was on the bench, Dutch-born defender Mitch Apau was in full time action for Westerlo.

In the Second Division, Prince Asubonteng played the entire match for Dessel Sport who beat AS Eupen 1-0. In the Eupen team was Ghanaian midfielder Stephen Asamoah.

CZECH REPUBLIC

Banik Ostrava posted a narrow 1-0 win over Mladá Boleslav. There was neither Francis Narh nor Derrick Mensah in the Banik Ostrava team.

NORWAY

Winger Ernest Asante scored a 93rd minute consolation goal for IK Start who suffered a 3-2 home loss against Stabaek.

Mahatma Otoo played the entire 90 minutes of the game for Sogndal FF who drew 1-1 with Aalessund.

Stromsgodset's inconsistency in the season was highlighted again as they suffered a 4-1 home humiliation against FK Brann. Ghanaian duo Adam Kwarasey and Mohammed Abu both started the game but Nana Boateng was not in the squad due to injury.

PORTUGAL

Boavista registered their first win of the season after beating Academica Coinbra 1-0. Defender Richard Ofori's own-goal condemned Academica to defeat but Quincy Owusu-Abeyie was not in the Boavista team for the game.

Bernard Mensah scored from the spot to help Vitória Guimarães hold FC Porto to a 1-1 draw on Sunday.

Youngster Osei Barnes was not in the Paços de Ferreira side drew 1-1 with Gil Vicente on Sunday.

Rio Ave remain leaders of the Portuguese Primeira Liga after they held Moreirense to a 1-1 draw on Saturday. Former Ghana U-17 midfielder Emmanuel Boateng started and completed the game for Rio while Alhassan Wakaso came off the bench to mark his season debut for Rio.

ROMANIA

CFR Cluj mauled Astra 4-1 in the Romanian Liga I top-liner. Ghanaian midfielder Sulley Muniru was in full time action for Cluj while former Ghana U17 attacker Sadat Bukari was replaced in the 46th minute by Astra. Seidu Yahaya was not in the Astra team for the game.

SERBIA

Former Hearts of Oak captain Moro Abubakar could not mark his debut for Donji Srem when they drew 1-1 with Rad Beograd on Saturday.

Akwasi Frimpong warmed the bench for Napredak who drew 0-0 with Red Star Belgrade.

Obeng Regan lasted the entire duration of the game for ?ukari?ki who lost 4-2 at Partizan Belgrade.

TURKEY

Jerry Akaminko is yet to recovery from injury and was not in the Eski?ehirspor team that drew 0-0 with Galatasaray on Saturday.

Defender John Boye was out with injury as his Kayseri Erciyesspor held Gaziantepspor to a 2-2 draw.

Striker Abdul Majeed Waris marked his debut for Trabzonspor and played the entire game as they drew 0-0 with Fenerbahçe on Saturday evening.

CYPRUS

Midfielder Livingston Adjin played for Doxa who lost 4-0 against AEL in the First Division.

Mustapha Quanyor was not in action for Ermis who lost 1-0 at APOEL.

RUSSIA

Emmanuel Frimpong came off the bench to mark his debut for FK Ufa as they posted a 2-0 win over Krasnodar in the Russian Premier League on Sunday night.

SOUTH AFRICA

Fatau Dauda lost his place at Chippa United as he was axed from their squad in their 2-0 away win over Moroka Swallows on Sunday.

Rashid Sumaila was not in the Mamelodi Sundowns defence when they beat Bloemfontein Celtic 1-0.

Maritzburg United and Black Aces drew 0-0. Former Ghana defender John Pantsil played the full 90 minutes while striker Anas Mohammed was also in full time action while Edwin Gyimah and Kwabena Adusei also played Black Aces.

TUNISIA

Black Stars defender Harrison Afful set up two goals for Esperance du Tunis who nailed Gabès 7-1 in the Tunisia Ligue 1.

SWITZERLAND

Samuel Afum scored the second goal for Young Boys who beat Luzern 3-2.

FC Zurich cruised to a 4-1 win over FC Sion. There was no Ishmael Yartey and Ebenezer Assifuah in the FC Sion team for the game.

USA

In the MLS there was no Gershon Kwoffie in the Vancouver Whitecaps side when they lost 2-1 at FC Dallas.

Houston Dynamo and Columbus Crew shared the spoils in a 2-2 draw. Kofi Sarkodie was booked in the 87th minute and played the entire 90 minutes.

Khalif Alhassan came off the bench to play for Portland Timbers in their 2-2 draw with Colorado Rapids.
