Ghanaian Premier League leaders AshantiGold are without their influential striker Yakubu Mohammed for their clash with Aduana Stars on Sunday.

The 24-year-old has travelled abroad in search of a summer move and is set to miss Sunday's tie at the Len Clay Sports Stadium.

Yakubu, a former Maritzburg United striker, has reportedly signed for Moroccan side Moghreb Athletic de Tétouan but it is unclear whether he will feature for the Miners when he returns.

AshantiGold coach Bashir Hayford must look elsewhere in his squad for a quality replacement for the powerful attacker who has bagged eight goals to support their campaign since his return from abroad.
