Ghanaian prodigy Alhassan Wakaso delighted with fantastic start to Portuguese league season

Ghanaian youngster Alhassan Wakaso is delighted with his solid start to life in the Portuguese league after a strong start with Rio Ave.

Alhassan who is younger brother to Las Palmas midfielder Mubarak Wakaso has played in all four games for Rio Ave this season.

The 23-year-old is a midfielder but with an incredible ability to play in defense, a trait that has come in handy for his club this season.

With Rio Ave sitting comfortable on 11th position after five games Alhassan says he is satisfied with the kind of start he has had.

“It’s been a very strong start to the season and I am happy with my contribution,” Alhassan told GHANAsoccernet.com

“I know it’s a very long season to go but I feel the support and love from the Coach so it’s really helping me to give my best.”
