Ghanaian teenage prodigy Kingsley Boateng scored on his senior debut for AC Milan as they beat Swedish side Malmo in a friendly.

The 17-year-old was playing in his first game for the top-flight side since his promotion to the seniors on Friday.

Milan won the game 3-2 on penalties after the game ended 2-2 in regulation time with the Ghanaian earning the late equaliser before the shoot out.

Antonio Cassano played a great diagonal ball into the box, and Boateng timed his run to perfection and headed the ball past the goalkeeper with ease to level the scoreline.

Boateng could earn a quick call-up to the Black Stars if he continues to perform for AC Milan on the big stage.

He steered AC Milan to the Italy youth title by scoring the only goal as they Empoli 1-0 in the title-deciding final in June.

The 17-year-old striker ensured that Milan are champions of Italy at Allievi Nazionali level four years after winning the trophy in 2007.

Boateng, who is a feared striker, has been at Milan since 2007 and was born in Pordenone, Italy to Ghanaian parents.
