TP Mazembe booked their place in the CAF Champions League semi-final stage for the second season running after thrashing Moroccan side Moghreb Tetouan by five unanswered goals.

A hat-trick from inform Tanzanian striker Mbwana Samatta and a goal each from Zambian Rainford Kalaba and Ivorian Roger Assale sealed a one sided affair for the Ravens.

The game saw all Ghanaian quartet of Solomon Asante, Daniel Nii Adjei, Yaw Frimpong and Gladson Awako all excel to help the Congolese side storm into the last four of this years CAF Champions League.

The other game in the Group between Egyptian side Smouha and Sudanese side Al Hilal Omdurman ended in a 1-1 drawn game.
