Ghanaian quartet reach CAF Champions League final with TP Mazembe

Four Ghanaian players were in the TP Mazembe squad which beat Sudanese side Al Merreikh 3-0 to reach the final of the CAF Champions League.

Solomon Asante, Daniel Nii Adjei and Yaw Frimpong were named in starting line-up with Richard Kissi Boateng on the bench.

A brace from Mbwana Samata and substitute Roger Assale gave the Lubumbashi side a 4-2 aggregate win.

The Ravens will face Algerian side USM Alger who eliminated another Sudanese side Al Hilal in the final next month.
