Ghanaian sensation Godfred Donsah welcomes former boss back at Cagliari

High-flying Ghanaian midfielder Godfred Donsah welcome his former boss  Zdenek Zeman back at Cagliari after he was re-appointed three months after leaving the club.

Il Boemo’ was sacked last December after a poor run of results left the Rossoblu languishing in the relegation zone and was replaced by former Cagliari hero Gianfanco Zola.

However, Zola was unable to improve matters and with the club still in the bottom three, Zeman has been asked to come back and hopefully save the club.

Zeman signed Donsah from Hellas Verona last summer and promised to hand him playing time but times were rough and he got fired.

But he returns to his post after just three months which will serve as a relief for the highly-rated Ghanaian.

Donsah has become an instant hit since he joined the club, leading to stellar clubs enquiring about his availability.

The likes of Manchester City and Liverpool are reported to be leading the race for his signature.

Zeman’s first match back at club will be at home to Empoli on Saturday evening.
