Dutch-born Ghanaian winger Edwin Gyasi has won the heart of FC Twente fans with his heroics for the Dutch side.

Gyasi, 21, was handed his second start of the season by Steve McClaren against FC Utrecht and he hugely impressed in the 64 minutes he lasted on the pitch.

He was involved in the nice sequence of play that ensured Willem Janssen put The Tukkers into the lead in the 2nd minute minute.

Though the Utrecht test was just his fifth outing of the season for Twente, his extraordinary pace, antics and physique has won him the hearts of Twente fans.

The Tukkers fans have swarmed the club's facebook page to express their satisfactions with the youngster's cameo.

Gyasi was born to Ghanaian parents in Amsterdam and has not been capped by the Dutch national team.

The former AZ Alkmaar academy graduate was reportedly pursued by 2009 Ghana U20 technical handlers.
