Ghanaian side Satellite City invited for Dallas Cup tournament in the USA

Satellite City will be the torch bearer as Ghana goes in search of glory at the annual Dallas Cup, in Texas USA from March 25- April 1.

Head coach of Satellite City FC, Freddie Kweku Etsiakoh, says “We are honoured and proud to represent Ghana with the objective to win the tournament and bring the Cup back to Ghana.”

Freddie added that “this is the start of a five year partnership with Dallas Cup and the idea to take the best talent from Ghana to showcase their technical and tactical football attributes and give the players a platform to grow and live out their dreams.

Dallas Cup is the oldest and most prestigious international youth tournament in USA; it is sanctioned by the United State Soccer Federation (USSF).

Over 4000 footballers will participate in the 2018 edition and will have 250 officials from all walks of life.

The competition will include some of the following teams: Satellite City, Arsenal FC, Man United, Tigres, Toronto FC, Liverpool, EC Vitoria and defending champions FC Dallas.
