English-born Ghanaian forward Darius Osei scored for non league side Stalybridge Celtic in a heavy 4-1 pre-season win over Accrington Stanley on Saturday.

The teenager assisted Adam Farrell's opener on the 6th minute mark before he wrote his name on the score-sheet four minutes into the second-half with a neat finish.

The Celts went ahead to triumph at the final whistle.

Since moving through the ranks, he has shown an increasing maturity, and a natural eye for goal, scoring four against Abbey Hey in the Manchester Senior Cup, as well as two in the FA cup, and has a knack for popping up at important points to score the winner.

Such is his talents that he was put on contract; just in time, as Barnsley offered him trials and took him on loan.
