Ghanaian striker David Accam could be making a long-awaited move to the English Premier League in January with reported interest from Leicester City.

The 23-year-old who currently plays for Swedish club Helsingborg has been consistently linked to a move for the past three transfer seasons due to his impressive goal returns.

The yet-to-be-capped Ghana international has scored 17 times in 22 games this season in the Swedish top flight.

Leicester City is now the latest club to be linked to the Right to Dream Academy graduate.

Helsingborg paid a record amount to Ostersunds to sign the Ghanaian back in 2012.

That investment could even quadruple once Helsingborg decided to sell the Ghanaian striker who has so appreciated significantly in value over the past two seasons.

Accam has scored 30 league goals in 54 appearances since joining Helsingborg two seasons ago.

He has received regular call ups into the Black Stars team but is yet to make an international debut.
