Ghanaian striker Emmanuel Baffour is trying out with an unnamed Danish club, the player's South African side Mamelodi Sundowns have confirmed.

The 2011/2012 Ghana Premier League top scorer had previously been linked with giants Odense when he was in top form.

Baffour signed for the Brazilians last June alongside compatriot Mumuni Abubakar from Ghana Premier League side New Edubiase but both could not make the grades.

The 24-year-old managed two appearances under former coach Johan Neeskens and the Dutchman's successor Pitso Mosimane was not convinced about his qualities.

"Baffour went to trials in Denmark. So, Mumuni went to Belgium and Baffour went to Denmark," Sundowns PRO Kabelo Mosito said.

Baffour was excluded from Sundwons' pre-season trip to the player's native Ghana.
