Ghanaian striker Eric Bekoe is expected to run final checks on his knee in London before he can be cleared for competitive football.
The 23-year-old underwent surgery a fortnight ago for cancerous cell in his leg in September last year.
The former Asante Kotoko goal poacher made a return in January this year and played 20 minutes for his Egyptian club Petrojet in a friendly match.
"I have played some games already but I have been asked to go for final checkups in London and then everything will fall in place again, he told KickOffGhana.com.
"It's been a long road back but I am happy it's working out well."
Bekoe was the leading scorer for his club before the knee injury knocked him out.
