Bal?kesirspor striker Kwame Karikari has been ruled out of action for six weeks as he begins his rehabilitation next week.

The 22-year-old, who is on loan from Swedish side AIK, has been sidelined since he suffered an injury during a training session last month.

The Ghanaian went under the knife and will begin rehabilitation next week,  officials of the Turkish second-tier have confirmed.

“Karikari’s operation was a success. He will begin rehabilitation next week,”  Dr Bulent Zeran said

“He has gone through physical therapy and rehabilitation and therefore we must be careful.

“He will be out for a period of six week.”

The ex- Inter Allies striker has notched 11 league goals in 22 appearances
