Crystal Palace's Ghanaian striker Kwesi Appiah has extended his loan deal at League One outfit Notts County for a further month.

The 23-year-old, who first joined the Magpies on a temporary deal in January, will now stay at Meadow Lane until March 22 after impressing there so far during his loan move.

Appiah spent three months at Skrill Premier side Cambridge United at the end of 2013 and he did well there, scoring 10 goals, but he remains some way down the pecking order at Selhurst Park.

He has made five substitute appearances so far for the Magpies since making his debut for the club in a thrilling 4-3 defeat at Peterborough United but will hope to be involved in this weekend's big clash against fellow relegation candidates Shrewsbury Town.
