Ghanaian striker Mike Mohammed, has agreed terms with Maritzburg United and will soon sign a three-year deal with the Absa Premiership side, according to Soccer Laduma.

Abel ‘Chacklas’ Shongwe, co-director of AbelSam Sports Management, the company that represents Mohammed, confirmed to the Siya crew that his player will put pen-to-paper with Maritzburg.

“We have agreed terms with Maritzburg and the teams have also agreed on the transfer fee. All that is left now is for Mike to get his international clearance and we’re on our way to Swaziland now as we speak to collect it,” Shongwe told the Siya crew.

“He will sign a three-year term with Maritzburg, possibly next week,” added Shongwe.

The Ghanaian striker, who spent last season at Mbabane Swallows in Swaziland, recently underwent a trial spell with Kaizer Chiefs, however he wasn’t offered a deal with the Amakhosi and joined up with the Team of Choice instead.

He managed to convince Steve Komphela to offer him a contract and is set to lead the Maritzburg attack this season.
