Ghanaian striker Nathaniel Asamoah suffers defeat on Raja Casablanca debut

Ghanaian striker Nathaniel Asamoah tasted defeat on his debut for Raja Casablanca in the side’s 2-0 defeat at FUS Rabat in the Moroccan top-flight opener on Sunday.

Asamoah, who joined the North African giants from Ghanaian side Medeama lasted 58th minute for the visitors as they suffered defeat in their opening game.

Raja coach Ruud Krol handed also handed starts to Asamoah’s compatriots Awal Mohammed and Yakubu Mohammed but the trio could not salvage the situation for the side.

Mohammed Fouzair opened the scoring for the home side on the stroke of half time before Mourad Batna added the second nine minutes into the second half.
