Ghanaian striker Patrick Amoah insists Fortuna Sittard could have scrap the maximum points after their 1-1 stalemate against Helmond Sport in the Dutch Eerste Divisie.

The visitors took the lead at the Lavans Stadion through Congolese striker Patrick N'Koyi in the 57th minute but they allowed Ferry de Regt to snatch a point for Helmond 10 minutes from time.

"I think we deserved the 3 points but we let them back in the game due to individual mistakes and they scored a late goal from a corner kick," he told GHANAsoccernet.com.

Sittard are 12th on the table and have not recorded a win in their last three games but the 27-year-old Swedish-born Ghanaian has been key to their campaign, scoring 4 goals in 24 league games.
