Ghana’s 17 –year-old, Isaac Donkor, described his first-team debut for Inter as an ‘unforgettable experience’ after turning out in the Europa League.

It was the first time the youngster walked out in the Black and Blue stripes of Inter on Thursday evening, but it had a bitter sweet ending to it as Inter crumbled 3-0 to Rubin Kazan.

The Nerazzurri abdicated their position as group leaders to the Russian outfit in which Andrea Stramaccioni opted to leave his old guard at home in order to give the youngsters a shot.

"I'm really happy, especially for all the people who care about me. Coming on tonight was amazing, I feel so excited but also sad about the goals we conceded,” he told Inter Channel.

“It could have been better. The coach asked me and Garritano to warm up, then he decided to bring me on. Playing alongside these great players was an unforgettable experience."

The Ghanaian defender is part of the Inter Youth team which won the NextGen Series under Stramaccioni last season.
