Ghanaian trio Solomon Asante, Daniel Nii Adjei and Gladson Awako showed great from to help TP Mazembe to a memorable 4-1 win over rivals AS Vita in the Congolese top flight game played on Wednesday.

The three Ghanaians played significant roles in the emphatic winning by providing assist in the game played in Lubumbashi.

Asante was the first of the Ghanaians to make an impact by going clear on the right flanks to lay off a pass for an easy finish for Rainford Kalaba in just the 8th minute.

The Ravens however suffered from a momentarily loss in concentration to let in the equalizer through Vita striker Patou Ebunga.

Jean Kasusula however restored Mazembe’s lead early in the second half after heading in from a free kick.

Gladson Awako then got in on the act by taking on two defenders to feed Mbwana Samatta for the third.

There was however still time for Daniel Adjei to slot in for Samatta to grab his brace and to complete another memorable win for Patrice Cateron’s side in the derby.
