Ghanaian trio of Daniel Nii Adjei, Solomon Asante and Yaw Frimpong have been named in the Tout Puissant Mazembe squad for Monday's clash against Ecofoot Moïse Katumbi in the opening fixture of the DR Congo Linafoot League.
The trio played important roles for the Lubumbashi-based outfit as they successfully defended their league crown last last, with Daniel Nii Adjei scoring the winning strike against sworn rivals AS Vita in the final match of the season.
They are among the 18 players coach Mirjalol Kasimov selected for the clash against the league debutantes which will come off at Stade TP Mazembe.
The Ravens will hope to commence the campaign on a winning note, which will serve as a morale booster for their Sunday's first leg CAF Confederations Cup final against South African side SuperSport United.
TP Mazembe returned to DR Congo last week after pitching camp at the Football Centre de Maamoura in Rabat, Morocco.
