Video: Ghanaian trio make Dutch record

For the first time this season, three Ghanaian players have played on one side in the Dutch league.

Top flight side Utrecht for the first time this term used all their three Ghanaian players in their starting line up against Vitesse.

Francis Dickoh, Nana Asare, and Erixon Danso were all used in their game as they were held to a 2-2 draw, the first time for Ghanaians in Holland.

Defender Dickoh, who has been spending most of his time on the bench this season, was handed a stating place in the place of January Wuytens.

Danso the young Ghanaian striker played in the place of injured Ricky van Wolfswinkel as he was favoured over Kevin Vandenbergh while Asare maintained his starting place.

Dickoh was instrumental in their second goal as he started in the move but his lapse in concentration led to one of the goals acored by Vitesse.

Both Asare and Danso were very active during the game with the defender providing Zambia Jacob Mulenga the assist for the 2-0 lead.
