Ghanaian youngster Clifford Aboagye has revealed his admiration for four-time FIFA Ballon D’or winner Lionel Messi and says he picks inspiration from the little magician.

Aboagye, 20, is seen as a future star in Ghanaian football having excelled with Ghana’s Back Satellites.

The former Inter Allies midfield maestro has spent two seasons with Spanish side Granada B.

With close a control, diminutive physique and mostly being compared with the Barcelona and Argentine football super star Aboagye says Messi is his ideal footballer.

“Well I like a lot of footballers but for me Messi is the one who I like a lot,” Aboagye said

“I have been fortunate enough to see him at close hand and I think he is a naturally gifted footballer.”

“I look at his structure and what he has achieved and I am confident that I can go far.”
