Ghanaian winger Ernest Asante is targeting success over Sogndal IF in the Norwegian top-flight is relishing a clash with fellow Ghanaian international Mahatma Otoo. 

The impressive Asante is with the Start squad that travel to the Fosshaugane Campus to face bottom-placed Sogndal IF who also have Ghana international striker Mahatma Otoo.

Asante, a former Fetteh Feyenoord player, is on his fourth season with Start is considered as one of the most influential players for them and one of the most exciting in the Norwegian league.

Two weeks ago, the winger enjoyed a duel with Adam Kwarasey's Stromsgodset and on Sunday, he will be up against Otoo, a former Hearts of Oak player and Ghana Premier League Golden Shoe winner and is he already excited ahead of the tie.

"I always love to meet players from my country like I met Kwarasey and Abu," he told GHANAsoccernet.com.

"Its always thrilling and we are going to do our best to win," he added.

Sogndal are afoot on the table and would push for victory against Start and striker Otoo will be looking to increase his league goal tally from 2 while Asante will also push to be on the score-sheet as he has scored 3 already.

Start are in a mid-table place.
