Ghanaian winger Ernest Asante struck the opener for Nordsjaelland in their 4-3 triumph over Viborg in the Danish Superliga on Friday night.

The 27-year-old raced the host into a 12th minute lead at the Right to Dream Park before getting involved in the sequence of play for the second goal.

Midfielder Stanislav Lobotka marauded through the visitors defence and played through Asante who calmly finished off to register his second goal of the campaign.

Asante has impressed since moving to Nordsjaelland from Norwegian outfit Stabaek.

His Ghanaian compatriot Godsway Donyoh also played in the game for Nordsjaelland.
