Dutch-born Ghanaian winger Edwin Gyasi has fixed his sight on working his way into a regular spot in the Heracles Almelo team.

The 22-year-old joined Heracles from FC Twente before the start of the season but has made fewer appearances than expected due to injury complications.

"I suffered a shoulder injury in December and that has slowed everything down for me but I hope to be playing regularly now that I'm fit again," he told GHANAsoccernet.com.

Gyasi has played just two times this term for Heracles since the start of the season.

"I came here with the hope of playing regularly but things haven't gone all well because of the shoulder problem but I must work hard now," he added.

The highly-rated talent was linked with German side Nurnberg and Hannover 96 but he opted to remain in Holland and joined Ghanaian duo Matthew Amoah and Kwame Quansah.
