Ghanaian teen sensation Koby Arthur put on show a lively display and bagged a brace for Birmingham City U21s in their 5-0 romping of Wigan Athletics in a pre-season friendly on Wednesday.

The 18-year-old former Chelsea and Manchester United target opened the scoring early on with a low shot from the edge of the area and added to his personal tally just after the hour with a 20-yard drive which squirmed through the legs of the Wigan keeper to put Blues four goals to the good.

The Ghanaian's energetic and glistening show impressed the watching Birmingham City first team manager Lee Clark as he could earn a place in his first team squad for the upcoming season.

Arthur, who is heading into his third season at the St. Andrew's Stadium, was fielded in just a single first-team game last season by Birmingham City and spent part of the season on loan at Conference League side Lincoln City, where he played six times.
