Ghanaian youngster Dennis Antwi emerged Man-of-the-Match after scoring to help Jerv to a 2-1 win at Bryne in the Norwegian second tier league.

The 22-year-old capped his impressive display with a 35th minute strike as his side raced into a 2-0 lead at the Bryne Stadion.

Ohi Omoijuanfo had given Jerv the lead after 23 minutes before Dennis Antwi’s strike.

Steinar Pedersen’s side held onto their two-goal margin lead until Bjornar Holmvik scored in the 62nd minute to pull one back for the hosts.

Jerv were however strong enough to see out the remainder of the game to pick up the precious away points which pushes the side into 6th in the Norwegian second tier league.

Dennis Antwi joined Jerv in August after signing and one-and-a-half year contract from Swedish club FC Rosengard where he scored 14 goals last season.
