Ghanaian midfielder Divine Naah has apologized to his teammates and coaches at NAC Breda for his early sending off in the side’s shocking 4-1 defeat to Volendam on Friday.

The 19-year-old got his marching orders after just 31 minutes of Breda’s season opener at home to Volendam in the Dutch second tier.

Naah’s sending off affected his side so bad that they ended up sulking to a shocking 4-1 home defeat.

The former Right to Dream Academy player has noted his mistake in letting his team down and has rightfully sent in his apology.

“I apologise for the red card yesterday,” Naah said.

“It was never my intention to let my team mates down and I'm truly sorry to have disappointed my coaches and NAC fans as well.

“It's a big lesson for me and I promise to learn from my mistakes.”

Naah is back on loan at NAC Breda from English giants Manchester City.
