Ghanaian youngster Duncan wins Europe U19 trophy with Inter

Ghanaian youngster Joseph Alfred Duncan converted a spot-kick as Inter Milan beat Ajax Amsterdam 5-3 on penalties to lift the inaugural edition of Europe's Under-19 club Championship.

He lasted the entire duration of the game and scored Inter's second penalty kick after they tied 1-1 after extra-time.

The 19-year-old played a crucial role through the campaign and scored the all-important goal that secured victory at the round of 16 against Dutch side PSV Eindhoven.

He told GHANAsoccernet.com: "This is a great milestone and wonderful achieve. It's something I had been dreaming of and its now here."

The versatile midfielder is eyeing a call-up to Ghana's Under-23 team.
