Ghanaian midfielder Joachim Adukor hopes to further his career development with his latest move to Portuguese club CD Trofense.

The 21-year-old joined the second tier club earlier this week after signing a two-year deal.

Adukor arrives in Portugal having spent most of his young professional career in Sweden where he last played for Gefle.

The ex Ghana U20 trainee is relishing his stay at his new club where he expects to further his development as young potential.

"I am looking forward to a wonderful season and a good career here," he told GHANAsoccernet.com.

"I want to continue withy development here in Portugal, work hard and progress."

Adukor first moved to Europe in 2011 from Ghanaian youth club Emirates SC.

He managed to break into the first team at Gefle after a difficult debut season in the Swedish top flight.
