German-born Ghanaian forward Kwasi Okyere Wriedt registered his name on the score sheet for Bayern Munich II in the German Regionalliga Bayern League on Tuesday.

The young Bavarians defeated 1860 Rosenheim 2-0 at the Jahn Rosenheim Stadion.

The 23-year-old opened the scoring for the Bayern with a stunning strike in the 9th minute of the game before a 34th minute goal from Raphael Obermair sealed the win for the Bavarians.

Wriedt joined the Bayern Munich from third-tier side VfL Osnabrück during the last summer transfer window.

He has registered eleven goals for Bayern Munich II since joining them this season.

The young forward is eligible to play for either Ghana or German in future.

Okyere has had a tremendous season with the club youth side where he was handed a bench role in the Bayern Munich senior team in their 5-0 win over Freiburg last Saturday.
